When choosing the best color temperature for your LED application, we recommend that you select ‘Soft Daylight’ for tasks and reading or where you want to be able to see ‘true’ colours. ‘Warm White’ is preferable where a soft warm light is needed, such as dining or just relaxing with your feet up. ‘Warm White’ bulbs are similar in colour to an incandescent light. THIS IS THE SECOND ONE WE ORDERED
We have a small solar system. The overhead lights in the kitchen are on the DC 24 volt systems. Compact CFLs that run on DC are no longer available.
The 24 volt DC LED bulbs worked perfectly. All I had to do was change the bulbs. They are much brighter than the compact CFL bulbs I replaced and they don't need to warm up for 5 minutes to reach maximum brightness - instant on. Note: Our system was designed and built by my husband and myself after taking the solar energy course at the Florida Solar Energy Center. It may be a small system but is darn handy after a hurricane. I have lights and I can charge my neighbors' cell phones for them.
