When choosing the best color temperature for your LED application, we recommend that you select ‘Soft Daylight’ for tasks and reading or where you want to be able to see ‘true’ colours. ‘Warm White’ is preferable where a soft warm light is needed, such as dining or just relaxing with your feet up. ‘Warm White’ bulbs are similar in colour to an incandescent light. The 24 volt DC LED bulbs worked perfectly. All I had to do was change the bulbs. They are much brighter than the compact CFL bulbs I replaced and they don't need to warm up for 5 minutes to reach maximum brightness - instant on. Note: Our system was designed and built by my husband and myself after taking the solar energy course at the Florida Solar Energy Center. It may be a small system but is darn handy after a hurricane. I have lights and I can charge my neighbors' cell phones for them.
The product is great, but the shipping timeline could improve a little bit.

I love these bulbs, which are actually rated for 10-80 VDC, which means I can use them with our off-grid 24 volt solar system, on the road from a 12 volt car battery, or on any other common DC voltage (36, 48). They are very efficient, apparently utilizing a built-in step-down 'switching' regulator (at 24 volts they draw about 1/2 the current they draw at 12 volts, at 48 volts they draw 1/4 as much, etc). Because of the excellent regulation, the brightness is the same at any voltage, and never flickers due to fluctuation in the input voltage (such as from a refrigerator turning on).
